Somehow we managed to not buy a video baby monitor when my son was little, we did get one of those movement sensor monitors which at the time didn't come with the video option. Oh! but I longed for a video monitor, however, I we couldn't justify spending another $200 on a second monitor.
My son grew older and even now that he is a toddler I still wake up in the middle of the night to go get a visual on him. We're not doing that again and I am definitely getting a video monitor this time around!

Who doesn't love durable cute shoes? I do and I love the styles Umi comes up with for children's shoes, I really like that they also seem durable and sturdy.
Once upon a time, I thought I could just get "any" shoes for my son since he would end up outgrowing and destroying them in no time... but oh boy was I wrong! While yes he outgrew shoes like there was no tomorrow for a while, it's slowing down now and I found he had much better balance and control when first learning how to walk, jump and run if he had "good" comfy shoes on.

Blueberry + Strawberry and Flaxseed - Breakfast Smoothie Yum!

    This was my breakfast this morning. I mixed the ingredients on a whim and it came out so tasty! Even my 2.5 yr old like it.
    So yummy and packed full of vitamins and nutrients for this pregnant mamma :) I am definitely making it again soon.

Below is a list of what I used in case you want to try it too!

Ingredients:

- 1/4 c. Blueberries
- 1/4 c. Strawberries
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. ice cubes
- 1 tbsp. whole flaxseed
- 2 tbsp. honey

Mix everything in a blender until well blended and smooth. Enjoy!
